Limited Edition Prints of Pastel Paintings by Rodney Mann Impressionism meets automotive art with Rodney Mann's impressionistic style pastel paintings. At normal viewing distance the illusion of fine detail is complete. View the details of the painting up close and you will see the mastery of the strokes that paint just enough for your eye to fill in the rest. It is hard to convey the uniqueness of these paintings in the photographs of them on this site. They tend to look very sharp, almost as photographs, in the representations here. Below is a detail of one of Rod's paintings to try and show the impressionistic style of the paintings.
Detail of '53 & '03 Corvettes Painting Each of Rod’s print editions starts as an original painting, painted with pastel chalks and pencils on pastel paper. The original painting is then scanned, full scale, on a high resolution flatbed scanner in order to preserve the color and detail. The scan is then digitally resized to the print size and each print is output on an Epson 4000 Print Engine. Each print is then hand signed and numbered by Rod. These are fine art prints of original pastel paintings. The prints are printed on museum grade archival pastel paper with pigmented inks and will resist fading for many generations. The size is listed for each print and they are numbered, signed and come with a certificate of authenticity. Each print is a limited edition and once an edition is sold out, they are gone as there will be no more editions. Price for each print is $29.95 or $34.95 unframed.
